Actually, primitive versions of the bagpipe concept date to the Tigris-Euphrates area. Therefor, every click of humanity can claim that they invented the “Instrument”. Weddings and bagpipes. A popular comedy “Four Weddings And A Funeral” had plenty of bagpipe refences. Paul McCarthy made a famous single called “Mull of Kintyre”. Remarkably, this single was a record making #1 hit.
It was an honor to show up on the official Getty Images collection, playing bagpipes. This picture was taken during a strike time at Warner Brothers Studios, Burbank, CA. Will Dinsmoor (Scottish Fan) hired us to perform. Additionally, Will requested the attractive drummer Amanda Farrar to join the effort. Also the energy of the day matched the energy of the bagpipes.

John was well known as a bagpiper, Scottish Highland Dancer and Judge in Southern California for decades.
