Scotland the Brave – This is one of the most famous military tunes played on the Great Highland Bagpipe. This is a great way to start off any event!
Wearin’_of_the_Green – Is a tune that certainly is a favorite for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, as well as any Irish theme event. In addition, Scottish Pipes & Drums offers a variety of Irish melodies for your special event!
Ode to Joy – A timeless classic that “rings out” on the Pipes. The famous tune also is great for the Bridal processional! This is also known as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 Often a piper can play with other instruments in harmony.
Grandfather Clock – This melody brings back generations of the past and is memorably a great tune for Grandparents as well as Great Grandparents!
Skye Boat Song – This Waltz tempo melody captures the soul of the Highlands. Known also as “Over the Sea to Skye” reflects on the regular Ferry service between the Isle of Skye and the Scotland Mainland.
Pipe Master George MacGillivary – This upbeat Hornpipe is a nice tune to tap your feet and clap your hands to. Often listeners find themselves dancing along with the band!
Going Home – A classic song that reminds of the past and where we started. Memorials and graveside ceremonies use this and “Amazing Grace” as good selections for solemn occasions. At least one of these slower tunes is good for a graveside conclusion.
Irish Jig – This lively and popular tune gets even the most timid audience up on their feet dancing!

Scottish Pipes & Drums is a bagpipe band for hire, based in Woodland Hills, California.
Our skilled entertainers perform SOLO pipes regularly in the Southern California region including Ventura and Santa Barbara. Interestingly, people refer to these musicians as “bag piper” or “bag pipes player”.
Besides the music industry, we have performed for movies as and television. Also we have appeared on Jay Leno, Lassie, Hell’s Kitchen, and Home Improvement. Over the years, we have added musical contributions for Honda, Rod Stewart, How To Tame a Dragon.
Additionally our group has been blessed to be part of many hundreds of weddings over the years.
Also, we enjoy making new life long friends. The reality of pipes at funerals is also a roll for our group.
