Bagpiper Performs In Redlands, California for the first time at the May Car Show. This was the 25th annual Fire and Police charity Car Show. And, the weather was amazing. Also, the crowds were having a great time. Interestingly, the variety of cars and vehicles on display was impressive. Not a lot of English cars to see.
Bagpiper Harry Farrar led a small parade for the first time in the car show’s history. Also, John joined in with the flag and presented the Colors. Bagpipes Are Good For Many Military Tunes
Many famous bagpipers have come from Redlands. Additionally, a large shop for Scottish supplies was headquartered in the Redlands area. Besides the Blandford & Sons Store, the family also had a large bagpipe band. For years Kevin Blandford ran the group as “Pipe Major”. He was very talented and well respected.
