During a special charity event bag pipe players hosted by King’s Harbor Yacht Club and Glen Thompson. Harry Farrar demonstrated the ability to bagpipe and try his “sea-legs” in the harbor As the well appointed event boat returned to port. A super reception was held at the club house with a wonderful shoreline breeze and perfect temperatures for the guests and sponsors of the cancer charity event.

King’s Harbor Yacht Club has raised an amazing amount of donations and this evening event was a perfect setting. This was to recognize the generous giving of this flagship yacht club. And, as a guest to this event, the kindness and character of the club members was top notch. And, of course the bagpipe.
Additionally, Marina Del Rey has Bag pipe players too. And the Hornblower bay trip is fun. Anyways, the setting and atmosphere of the club house seemed timeless, and current with traditional North Carolina rung chairs, an authentic nautical bar and a group of friendly and outgoing members with a charm and optimism that makes one look forward to the next event!

Interestingly, not much has changed since 2016 and the time of this update. Because many of the original members of the club continue to party on! Also, the fine food and drink is even better! As well as the bagpipe!
Often played places include Malibu, Woodland Hills, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, Westwood, UCLA, Burbank, and Encino. Also, well know areas include: Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Pasadena, Glendale, Glendora, Granada Hills, and Porter Ranch. Many of these locations are in Los Angeles City Limits and Ventura County. Additionally, these include Agoura Hills, Oak Park.
Westlake Village, LAX, Valencia, Santa Clarita and in the mountains of San Bernadino “Big Bear”. Riverside National Cemetery is in the Inland Empire. Notably, San Marino is a great place for weddings! Indeed, Catalina and Avalon are venues for weddings and sea.
