Bagpiper and Bugler perform at Forest Lawn. It was an honor today to perform with Keith. He is a member of our great US Army! And a talented musician. It is common for cemetery flag folding ceremonies to have a bugle player. In this case he played free style, and the sound was super. I know this meant a lot to the family.
Forest Lawn Bagpipers And Military Honors
Forest Lawn Glendale and all the properties really go all out to support and show respect for our soldiers. On May 27th there will be ceremonies at all the Southland parks to remember Memorial Day. Thanks to Special Events Director Tom Smith, my family and I will be performing at the Glendale and Hollywood Hills parks. This has been a tradition for us for over two decades. Call Forest Lawn for details (855) 800-5296.
Also, bagpipers and buglers perform for other events like parades. For example July 4th and other formal gatherings.
For more information about hiring a bagpiper or bugler for an event bagpipeplayers.com or call cell. (818) 716-7522. If you want to reach Keith for a color guard as well. Our soldiers are a centric part of what has made this country. It can be easy to get distracted and to forget the duty and service of our military. Go Army!
Bagpiper And Bugler | Two Traditions
There are similar reasons for having the bagpipe or bugle at a ceremony. The bagpipe tradition in the United States is an evolved tradition. And the song Amazing Grace helped this tradition.
The bugle is related to military traditions and in this case for the US Army. Other chapters of the US military also use this instrument. Also a gun salute is often used for services.
The Bagpiper and Bugler do very well together at the many National Cemeteries around the USA.
