Bagpiper Harry Makes Some Noise | 4th Street Recordings | Santa Monica
Harry was invited to plays some notes for a new recording at 4th Street Recordings Studio. The studio is a classic piece of history with a long list of artists. Notably, the Beach Boys recorded the “Kokomo” album here. With No Bagpipes! Also, modern artist have shared the same microphones, piano and chairs in years since. And, decades before.
There are many other studios for musicians in Southern California. Often, the studios for recording are huge like Sony and CBS. However, the small quant 4th Street Recording Studio is quaint. And, many artists felt comfortable in the setting. Besides 4th Street Studios, there is another studio in town- New Vine Music. Interestingly, there is one meeting place that stands out. And this is a local pub called O’Briens. Irish pubs are always full of energy and music.
Bagpipers and Recording Artists Like O'Briens
Sometimes, Irish pubs lead to Scottish pubs. For example, Ye Olde King’s Head. Often, after a late Saturday nigh at the pub, Church is in order for the next morning, And, the biggest Catholic Church in town is St. Monica. Harry Farrar performs weddings and memorials at this lovely location. And, the church has a fine school as well. Either way, pubs near 4th Street Studios can produce hang-overs.

Bagpipes for wedding happen all over town. Interestingly, some couples have out door weddings near the 4th street recording studios at the park. And, this park is small and famous. Because, it has been in countless movies. And, looks over the PCH and the ocean. Also, near by is Getty Villa. Rarely, a bagpiper is hired to perform for private functions. Bagpipes are musicians. But, not as many at the Getty!

Examples are, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, LAX, Valencia, Santa Clarita and in the mountains of San Bernadino “Big Bear”. Riverside is home to National Cemetery.
