For years, brothers of SAE have rallied around the spirit of philanthropy and care for others in one of the most recognized and anticipated events known as Paddy Murphy. A successful Paddy Murphy event can be one of the most memorable moments of your chapter’s year and can lead to years of tradition and enjoyment. Ultimately, Paddy Murphy is a way to give back and make a lasting impact in the lives of others while also stimulating excitement and healthy competition on your campus.

Harry Farrar and Drummer Amanda have been helping out with the traditional walk around campus for nearly 20 years and it has been a great time for all. As graduates move on, a fresh new group proudly replaces them. Also the same is true for the pipers from bagpipeplayers.com.
Just like the Paddy Murphy event is sent down to the next group by tradition, Harry’s son Harry Farrar VI has also taken a few walks around UCLA with SAE students. Additionally, the drummer Amanda stands out as she is playing the large bass drum. And is one of the rare females in attendance! Paddy Murphy Bagpiper and Drummers of the future remain to be seen.

Also well know areas include: Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Pasadena, Glendale, Glendora, Granada Hills, and Porter Ranch.
Many of these locations are on Los Angeles City Limits and Ventura County. These include Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, LAX, Valencia, Santa Clarita and in the mountains of San Bernadino “Big Bear”.
Cities and smaller towns include Whittier, Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Pacific Palisades, Palos Verdes, Laguna Beach and Dana Point.
The number of towns that fall in Los Angeles County and Ventura County is endless. Bagpipe musicians from our team perform in Camarillo, Hidden Hills, West Hills , Canoga Park, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Ojai and Santa Monica.
