Harry Farrar was the “Indian wedding Bagpiper” at an impressive Sunday Morning Wedding. Also, the wedding guests were very awake. And, there were several hundred. In fact, the talent was impressive!
Interestingly, the groom and bride had family introductions and a series of traditions. Surpringly, at one point, dancing and singing was common. Also the groom was presented on a well trained horse!
The location for this large event and gathering is called BAPS. And, is well know for the large size of the property. The structures are impressive too.
Amazingly, Bagpipe players have roots back to the Tigris-Euphrates river basin. Historically, India took the bagpipes from connections with Britain in the 1900’s. India’s bagpipe bands are numerous and versatile. In the USA a normalized kilted bagpipe player can step in as an Indian Wedding Bagpiper!

The kilt attire is common for most bagpipers but there are hundreds of bagpipe bands in this huge country that wear trousers. And, often a sharp looking white formal outfit. Interestingly, there are as many variations of bagpipes in India as any other aged country.

Indeed, popular locations for bagpipe players include Chatsworth, Malibu, Bel-Air, Pasadena and Glendale. Additionally, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, Camarillo and Santa Clarita are common wedding hubs. Also, Santa Monica and coastal towns like Venice, Camarillo and Ventura are cooler for summer events. Additionally TV and media is located around Studio City and Burbank-Hollywood.
Also, Harry is regularly featured in TV and film projects over the years. Interestingly, the remake classic Lassie and Hell’s Kitchen in the SFV.
