Graduation bagpiper Harry Farrar plays every year at the campus of Crespi Carmelite High School for this grand event. The Football and Lacrosse teams also have bagpipes for the home games. Also bagpipers tie in the “Celts” name to the school.

The private catholic school has a sister school in Woodland Hills called Louisville.
Harry first performed at Crespi in 1981 by invitation. Fr. Kevin McBrien, a Carmelite Priest found the fist listing for SP&D in the yellow pages and had Harry play for the half time of the 1981 homecoming game. Also years later they performed together with more pipers and drummers at Pierce College for Crespi football.
Additionally, many of the students of years past were married and harry performed at the weddings.
Here is a segment about Crespi:
Crespi Carmelite High School, shortly known as Crespi, is a private Catholic all-boys four-year college preparatory high school located in Encino District, Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
The school was named for Friar Juan CrespĂ, and was founded in 1959 by the Carmelite religious order, and has been run by the Carmelites since that time.
Looking forward to more years of warm summer nights and the bagpipe sound filling the hills of the West Valley.
