Ventura Bag Piper. Harry Farrar performed at Christ Community Church for a private funeral service in June 2024. Interestingly, the family requested a special song. And the song is “Marching to Zion.
This song is famous from Adult Contemporary singer Amy Grant. Also, her talents are in gospel songs as well.
The family requested Harry to bagpipe together with the singing congregation.

Ventura is like a town in Scotland. Just a little more sun and less rain. Ivy Lawn Cemetery and Funeral Home is a center for the town. Generations of locals rest here at this traditional cemetery. Harry bagpipes there often. And he is sometimes called the “Ventura Bag Piper”. The term “Bagpipe Player” is the same thing.
Ventura has other resources for funerals in town including the Honor Guard with the Fire Department. They offer a bagpiper and in some cases it is an associate of Harry.
