Many locations in the Palisades are great for unique events. Indeed, weddings at the lookout, School Culteral shows, Graduations. In fact, often there are grand parties at lovely homes looking out at the ocean. Often, Scottish Pipes and Drums perform at the famous Bel Air Bay Club. Also, at the Getty Center.
Update Feb 2026- A year after the fires, Scottish Pipes and Drums is on standby to perform for families that lost homes in the fires. Based in Woodland Hills since 1981, this terrible event is too close to home. Headquarters for Bagpiper | Drummer.
Asilomar View Outlook Bagpiper | Pacific Coast View
In 2022, a memorial service was helo at Alisomar Outlook. Family and friends met at this incredible viewpoint. Ashes were sent into the ocean air as Bagpipes played Amazing Grace in the background. Now in 2026, the ceremony lives on with the unfortunate loss of life due to the fires. Los Angeles political leaders really failed this community of Pacific Palisades.
