Bag Pipe Players Performs For Hornblower Cruises | Marina Del Rey

Bag pipe Players Performs For Hornblower Marina Del Rey California February 2017

Harry Farrar and his team of Bagpipe players are based in Woodland Hills, CA performed for a private “Ashes at Sea” ceremony just off the Pacific Coast on one of the many Hornblower ships.
The at sea service was on the “Dream On”. Other ships docked at the headquarters were very different. One ship for large weddings is called the “Entertainer”. And, the ship is clad in lacquered wood. Also, it is over 75 years old.

Harry Farrar Is In Woodland Hills

Marina Del Rey is a unique location for this great business to operate since it is centrally located and is freeway close. Management has indicated that Harry and the Bag pipe Players will be performing in the near time for summer weddings at sea.

What to say while scattering ashes at sea  (Bag Pipe Players)?

Before a scattering at sea ceremony it’s always nice to think about what is the best way to commemorate your loved one. It could be a speech, toast, prayer or story. For inspiration think about the life of the deceased, some great experiences you have shared, or a prayer that has meaning to the deceased or the family.

How does an unattended burial at sea work?
On our unattended burial at sea services we perform a traditional ash scattering service on your behalf. Interestingly, the boat travels 3 nautical miles before the captain will gently release the ashes into the sea followed by the sound of the Bag Pipe Players.

Bag Pipe Players & The Isle of Skye

The Skye Boat Song is a Scottish Highlands folk song.  The song is in the style of a Gaelic rowing song. And this is played by a talented Bag Pipe Player. And the song’s story includes events that took place in 1746. Listen to tune samples.
